The City of Madisonville’s website was an overwhelming mess. Many pages had broken links and out of date custom coded widgets made the sight slow and clunky. The outdated look and feel was just the beginning; it was also a beast to navigate. With walls of text and links, it required many clicks to find anything. With the pandemic just starting, this was especially vital to fix.
After exploring the needs of its diverse users and the City Government itself, we completely overhauled the site’s design and content architecture into a vibrant and modern experience. The new site was now responsive (desktop, tablet, mobile), adhering to federal and local accessibility standards. We also defined the feature set for the supporting content management system (CMS), and led the content strategy for the new site.

one fo the biggest challenges users faced, were out dated flash reliant plugins and systems for public files that were dependent on off site servers.

Our strategic process includes consulting with you on creating the structure of the website. This includes creating a sitemap of all pages being built, then creating content and wireframes for all of those individual pages.
Here we gather information about your brand direction. We define your color scheme, logos, images, fonts and general esthetic to incorporate into your new website.
In this phase we have our designers put together a website mockup that brings all of our strategy and art direction together in a way that looks great and solves your business problems
Once your mockup is approved, we move your project in to development. You will receive your custom dev link where you can monitor the progress of your build in real time. We will buid your website and it will be awesome.
Once your build has been approved and you are happy with the final website, we can launch and turn over the keys. We'll train you how to do content updates and if you think you are going to need more support, we can provide maintenance.
